Job summary

American Fidelity Assurance is seeking an Account Manager (Outside Sales Rep) in the Lake Oswego area to sell benefits, retirement, and other supplemental insurance products to K-12 public schools. You will build long-term relationships and provide needs-based recommendations for employees.

A defined territory, structured training, and a comprehensive benefits package accompany a compensation plan featuring base salary, uncapped commissions, and bonus potential, plus company car and travel

Qualifications

• No prior insurance experience required.
• Role focuses on B2B sales and relationship building.
• Must reside in the defined sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Grow and maintain existing B2B accounts by selling insurance products to school districts.
• Consult with current customers to provide value and meet financial needs.
• Build strong relationships with customers and association executives.
• Develop customized employee benefits packages through annual benefit enrollments and presentations.
• Manage a defined territory and travel as overnight travel is required.
