Job summary

Tri-State Metal Roofing Supply LLC in Riverdale, UT is seeking an energetic, results-driven outside sales professional to develop and maintain customer relationships, drive new business, and increase sales within an assigned territory.

You will present proposals, read blueprints, and collaborate with plant managers and inside sales to ensure customer satisfaction. Local travel and a strong track record in B2B sales are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of B2B outside sales experience.
• Experience in the roofing and/or construction industry preferred.
• Ability to build relationships and close sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Willingness to learn and become an expert in the metal roofing industry.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
• Prospect and develop new business opportunities within assigned territory
• Meet or exceed established sales goals and objectives
• Conduct regular customer visits and jobsite visits
• Prepare and present sales proposals and product presentations
• Promote all company products and services
• Follow up on customer quotes and sales opportunities
• Read and interpret blueprints and plans as needed
• Assist customers with product selection and technical information
• Collaborate with plant managers and inside sales staff to ensure customer satisfaction
• Resolve customer concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate customer records and activity notes within CRM system
• Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer functions as required
• Maintain positive customer satisfaction and relations
• Effectively manage territory, schedule, and travel
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment in a safe and professional manner, if applicable
• Continuously develop product knowledge and become an expert in the metal roofing industry
• Local travel – assigned local territory/region
• Other duties that may be assigned
