Job summary

Virginia Cancer Specialists, an affiliate of McKesson, seeks a Full Time Oncology Liaison to join the Marketing Team in Northern Virginia (Fair Oaks, Reston & Loudoun). The role focuses on physician liaison/outside sales to grow referrals and grow practice objectives with emphasis on strategic outreach and relationship building.

The position offers benefits and requires consultative selling, market analysis, and collaboration with practice leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or health.
• 5+ years healthcare marketing or 3 healthcare service sales experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases.

Responsibilities

• Initiate contact with non-oncology physicians and staff to market oncology services.
• Establish long-term relationships with referring physicians to grow referrals.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans and track growth.
• Relay physician feedback to leadership and implement solutions.
• Attend events, lunches, tumor boards, and community outreach to drive referrals.
