Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in an assigned non-bank territory and guide applications through processing and underwriting. You will spend a substantial portion away from bank locations to drive sales and build relationships with customers and referral partners.

The ideal candidate has NMLS registration, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years in Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration required under S.A.F.E. Act and Regulation Z.
• Two+ years in Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned Non-Bank territory.
• Take applications and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews.
• Spend at least 50% of time away from U.S. Bank locations to solicit and close loans.
