Job summary

Sofwave is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales in the North Los Angeles area, build strong practitioner relationships, and implement regional strategies in line with company positioning.

The role requires 5+ years of B2B sales experience, travel up to 35%, and a Bachelor’s degree (preferred). You will work to achieve capital equipment quotas, develop product knowledge, and coordinate with marketing for events and promotions.

Qualifications

• Travel up to 35% (as needed).
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, marketing, business or related field preferred.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Proven, successful sales track record.
• Excellent oral/written communication; presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Achieving capital equipment quota for the assigned territory.
• Applying professional and ethical sales techniques to close sales in assigned territory.
• Acquiring product knowledge through product training and competitive analysis.
• Creating awareness and demand for the company’s products.
• Identifying prospective customers by following leads from existing customers, and participating in company activities.
• Engaging prospective customers daily via in-person and other methods (text, phone, email, video calls, etc.).
• Maintaining all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.
• Maintaining communications with internal personnel to align with objectives.
• Monitoring market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ pricing/trends.
• Negotiating contract and payment details within policy.
• Supporting customer success after sales to resolve problems.
• Coordinating with Marketing to promote products via events.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
