Job summary

WaterFurnace International, Inc. is seeking a Territory Development Manager for the Arizona, Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico region.

You will drive growth through dealer and distributor engagement, education, and strategic marketing, while coordinating with internal teams to expand market share. You will lead sales initiatives, train partners, and build a robust network of trade allies, participating in trade shows and local events to increase demand and awareness.

Qualifications

• 3 years technical sales experience with proven sales growth track record.
• BA/BS in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Able to travel 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales in this underserved but significant market.
• Meet or exceed semi-annual sales and contribution margin goals.
• Identify market potential to increase sales and market share.
• Increase consumer awareness and order demand through marketing, advertising, networking, education and lead generation activities.
• Maintain a Dealer and Distributor base by driving performance and recruitment as needed.
• Provide leadership and coaching to dealers and distributors to increase sales and lead generation activities.
• Develop a network of strategic trade allies and market influencers in support of market development activities.
• Create and report sales forecast and territory needs utilizing a CRM platform.
• Evaluate dealer and distributor performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support the launch of new products for your customers, ensuring growth in revenue and value.

Territory Development Manager – Arizona, Colorado, Utah, & New Mexico - Dealer and Distributor Direct Sales

Job Overview

The Territory Manager drives sales growth through development and engagement activities inside an assigned geographic territory. These activities include both customer and market development. Dealer and Distributor development is accomplished through influence, training and accountability. This development will include increasing mindshare, sales experience / education and technical competency. Market development activities will include increasing demand and consumer awareness through marketing, networking and education. This effort includes resourcing and participating in trade shows, home shows, workshops and various local organizations and associations (HBA, AIA, HVAC). In addition to customer engagement, this position requires consistent engagement with internal team members as well as trade allies.
