Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for Hard Surface Flooring in the Fox Valley East-Central Wisconsin area, including Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, and Fon du Lac.

You will develop relationships with flooring dealers, designers and end-users to grow Shaw’s profitability and market share. Responsibilities include daily sales calls, product presentations, display construction, and Salesforce data entry.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED and 1 year of sales experience.
• Must reside in the market.
• Must be able to travel in a vehicle that can carry a number of product sample boards requiring a van or an approved SUV.
• Ability to lift samples and build displays, up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include some evenings.
• Proven experience using a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products, samples, displays, adhesive, and related floor products.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users and analyze leads.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more regularly.
• Continually prospect for viable new accounts while developing understanding of the geographic area.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and sales activity.
• Prepare and communicate periodic sales reports detailing actual sales, goals, market conditions and product needs.
• Analyze sales statistics using computer reports to aid in setting goals and assisting dealers.
• Analyze and control travel and entertainment expenditures as well as sample budget to conform to budgetary requirements.
• Enter all customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.
• Promote all residential products including Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial and educate customers on these products.
