Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Territory Manager for Hard Surface Flooring to grow profitability and market share in the Fox Valley East-Central Wisconsin area, including Oshkosh. You will build relationships with flooring dealers, designers, and end-users, manage sample programs, and drive expansion via market initiatives and service excellence.

You will travel to customer sites, present products, and maintain accurate sales reporting.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED and 1 year of sales experience.
• Must reside in the market.
• Must be able to travel in a vehicle that can carry product sample boards.
• Ability to lift samples up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Flexible schedule that may include some evenings.
• Proficient with a laptop and MS Windows software.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products and related items.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users; analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more regularly.
• Prospect for new accounts while understanding the market area.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and sales, showing volume and potential.
• Communicate periodic sales reports with actuals, goals, and competitive market data.
• Analyze sales statistics using computer reports to set goals and assist dealers.
• Manage travel and sample budget to meet budget requirements.
• Record all customer interactions in Salesforce.com.
• Educate customers on Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial.
