Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Residential Territory Manager for hard surface flooring to grow profitability and market share in the Fox Valley East-Central Wisconsin area, including Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, and Fond du Lac. You will develop dealer relationships and execute market programs to drive sales.

You will manage product samples, build displays, and travel to customer locations, using Salesforce for updates and reporting. Residency in the market and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED and 1 year of sales experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must reside in the market.
• Must be able to travel in a vehicle that can carry a number of product sample boards requiring a van or an approved SUV.
• Ability to lift samples and build displays, up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include some evenings.
• Proven experience using a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products and related items.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users and analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more regularly.
• Prospect for new accounts while understanding the local market area.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and sales volumes.
• Prepare and communicate periodic sales reports detailing sales, competition, and product needs.
• Analyze sales statistics using territory reports to set goals and aid dealers.
• Track travel and entertainment expenses and sample budget to meet budgets.
• Enter all customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.
• Promote all residential products including Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philadelphia Commercial to customers.
