Job summary

Cyncon Equipment is seeking a motivated Territory Manager to develop and grow sales across the greater Syracuse area, serving municipalities, contractors, utilities, and related sectors.

The role emphasizes building long-term customer relationships, conducting demos in the field, and identifying new business opportunities while working with internal teams to deliver exceptional support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of successful outside sales experience in municipal or related industries.
• Proven ability to drive revenue growth and meet sales goals.
• Strong knowledge of municipal equipment, fleet operations, or public works products.
• Experience operating equipment for demonstrations and training is preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage priorities within a defined territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales plan to meet revenue goals.
• Prospect and acquire new municipal, contractor, utility, and industrial customers.
• Conduct visits, presentations, equipment demos, and site evaluations.
• Build relationships with Public Works Directors, Fleet Managers, and Contractors.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer support.
• Maintain records, forecasts, and CRM activity; travel as required.
