Job summary

Software Placement Group seeks a Territory Manager for the McAllen, TX area to run a defined geographic territory with a mobile store fleet. You will develop new prospects, perform face-to-face calls, and showcase products using demonstrations directly at customers’ sites.

This on-site role requires a strong, tenured sales background, reliability, and the ability to manage accounts and drive orders daily in a territory-based field setting.

Qualifications

• Must reside within the assigned territory (Mcallen, TX)
• Relocation is not available
• Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle
• Must maintain a clean driving history
• Must have the physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor regularly
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong, tenured work background with limited job hopping (max 3 companies in 10 years)
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with proven goal attainment

Responsibilities

• Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calls on businesses near existing customers
• Make face-to-face calls on cold and warm sales prospects
• Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and the mobile store
• Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store
• Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls
• Maintain customer contact information using company software
