Job summary

BD, formally Becton, Dickinson and Company, seeks a Territory Manager to drive Bard Peripheral Vascular sales across a defined geography, including Tempe, AZ. You will build relationships with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals and provide clinical support to customers.

This role requires developing sales strategies, conducting product demonstrations, and collaborating with marketing, clinical affairs, and customer service to ensure business success and patient care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Life Sciences) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful medical device sales experience, preferably within the cardiovascular, peripheral vascular, or interventional radiology space.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including hospital systems, reimbursement, and purchasing processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a territory effectively, and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Clinical background (e.g., RN, RT, RCIS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas for Bard Peripheral Vascular product lines.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within the territory.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and in-service trainings to educate customers on the features, benefits, and clinical applications of Bard Peripheral Vascular devices.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Manage territory expenses effectively and submit accurate and timely reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, clinical affairs, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales data within CRM.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and sales meetings as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.

Job Description
