Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to market Workers Comp, BOP, Commercial package and other specialty lines to independent agencies.

You will lead sales initiatives, train agents, and collaborate with underwriters while traveling the territory in Northern Illinois and beyond as needed. The role requires a proven sales track record, knowledge of commercial P&C, and ability to work remotely when needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
• Independent self-starter with ability to work remotely
• Knowledge of the commercial P&C insurance industry
• Ability to drive results and resolve issues within scope
• Advanced communication skills
• Knowledge of selling through intermediaries and distributors
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software

Responsibilities

• Sets appointments and conducts face-to-face meetings with independent agencies and brokers in the assigned territory
• Executes territory marketing strategy to grow new business premium
• Collaborates with underwriting to monitor and follow-up on submissions and quotes
• Generates weekly agency visit reports
• Participates in weekly sales calls and sales team meetings
• Meets monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and revenue objectives
• Trains agents on products, underwriting appetite, and online tools
• Maintains knowledge of AmTrust products and coordinates with other units
• Develops an annual Business Development Strategy for the territory
• Monitors competitor products and market trends
