Job summary

General Parts is seeking a Business Development Representative to own the sales cycle in the Cincinnati area, with regular visits to our Columbus, OH branch and travel across Kentucky. This remote role offers mileage reimbursement and a clear path to grow within a trusted service organization.

You will target HVAC, refrigeration, and foodservice equipment service markets, building long-term partnerships and delivering value to customers.

Qualifications

• Proven sales success, preferably in service-based sales.
• Experience in HVAC, commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, or related industries is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire sales process, from prospecting and relationship-building to closing new business.
• Expand market share by identifying and pursuing new opportunities throughout your territory.
• Develop strong customer relationships through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and ongoing communication.
• Consult with customers to understand their needs and recommend service solutions that improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Travel throughout your territory to meet customers and support business growth, with limited overnight travel.
