Job summary

General Parts Group is seeking a Business Development Representative to cover Cincinnati, Columbus, Ohio and Kentucky. This remote role requires regular visits to the Columbus, Ohio branch and up to 30% travel to customer sites.

You will own the full sales process, build relationships, and identify new opportunities across the territory to drive growth in HVAC, refrigeration, and foodservice equipment service. Strong earnings potential with a base and commission.

Qualifications

• Proven sales success, preferably in service-based sales. Experience in HVAC, commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, or related industries is a plus.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and time-management skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire sales process, from prospecting and relationship-building to closing new business.
• Expand market share by identifying and pursuing new opportunities throughout your territory.
• Develop strong customer relationships through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and ongoing communication.
• Consult with customers to understand their needs and recommend service solutions that improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Travel throughout the territory to meet customers and support business growth, with limited overnight travel.
