Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking a Territory Business Manager to drive sales in a Charlottesville, VA territory. The role focuses on launching a new rare disease GI/Hepatology product with rigorous adherence to compliance and ethical standards.

The TBM will develop territory strategies, build physician relationships, and deliver clinically focused presentations to communicate therapeutic value. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and data-driven decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information, apply technical proficiency and effectively communicate.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with a high level of autonomy and independence.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed targeted sales goals in an assigned territory by developing and executing an integrated territory plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize opportunities.
• Succeed in a complex, matrixed selling environment requiring cross-functional collaboration.
• Coordinate with FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations colleagues.
• Identify key influencers and meet interaction expectations with top target customers.
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decisions.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills through group presentations and meetings.
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular territory coverage.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Execute company DSE and future brand strategy in the territory.
