Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote our products and services within the Galena and Dubuque territory. You will build relationships with new and existing accounts while pursuing sales and profit goals across the region.

This role may require non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and involves driving to customer sites, attending meetings, and participating in training and events to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years in Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales.
• Completion of Sysco Sales Internship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor product/service selections.
• Provide product information and training to customers.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and meetings.
• Manage deliveries and coordinate with transportation as needed.
• Handle accounts receivable in coordination with the credit department.
• Attend sales and district meetings and participate in ongoing training.
