Job summary

A F WENDLING INC is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive revenue in foodservice by identifying opportunities, presenting tailored solutions, and expanding relationships across an assigned territory. You will manage accounts, call on customers, and close sales while meeting KPIs in a mobile, field-based role.

Responsibilities include developing business plans, handling pricing considerations, and delivering product demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in foodservice and/or foodservice sales or marketing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to make presentations.
• Interpersonal skills and comfort with meeting new people daily.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to contact customers, complete sales and manage other tasks independently.
• Time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and close sales.
• Willingness to adapt and implement new marketing strategies and sales methods.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manages a geographical sales territory ensuring that independent and regional account business is developed, and budgeted sales and profit objectives are achieved on a monthly basis.
• Regularly calls on existing and potential customers.
• Develops and executes business plans.
• Effectively manages time and resources to attain results.
• Manages pricing and monitors credit term compliance.
• Capacity to convey ideas effectively and sell a variety of products.
• Demonstrate products to prospects and customers.
• Ability to problem solve quickly and creatively.
• Goal-oriented and driven self-start who can work independently within a team environment.
