Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative to cultivate customer relationships, identify and win new business, and manage a defined sales territory in the Jupiter/Tequesta, FL area.

You will drive sales through relationship building, product knowledge, and strategic planning, with training provided during the onboarding phase. The role emphasizes field visits, customer reviews, and ongoing support for customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain your food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Sell and manage relationships for existing and prospective customers within the assigned territory.
• Pursue new customers and develop sales strategies to highlight Gordon Food Service offerings.
• Visit customers regularly to deepen relationships and identify opportunities for growth in sales.
• Manage territory logistics, coordinate visits, and communicate order status to customers.
