Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience in new business development.
• 2+ years of culinary chef, restaurant operations, or restaurant management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generates additional business through analyzing sales territory and individual customers; samples products and plans sales strategy.
• Grows sales and profit margins to meet goals.
• Sets up new customer accounts and coordinates deliveries; follows up on satisfaction.
• Ensures customer satisfaction with exemplary service and problem resolution; may make deliveries in emergencies.
• Builds additional business with current customers through product penetration and profitability.
• Monitors accounts receivable and adherence to credit terms.
• Keeps aware of pricing trends to ensure competitive pricing.
