Job summary

The Granite Group is hiring Outside Sales Representatives to cover Western Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. You will visit customers, identify new opportunities, and expand market share by serving contractors, plumbers, HVAC professionals, builders, and other trade customers.

Ideal candidates have outside sales or account management experience, strong prospecting skills, and the ability to communicate technical product information in a consultative, customer-focused way.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build relationships with trade customers.
• Outside sales or account management experience preferred.
• Strong prospecting, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to learn technical product information in a consultative way.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage territory priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned outside sales territory through regular customer visits and relationship building.
• Prospect for new contractors, plumbers, HVAC professionals, builders, and other trade customers.
• Develop strong account relationships by understanding customer needs and growth opportunities.
• Recommend plumbing, HVAC, PVF, hydronic products to help customers complete jobs.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying bids, projects, and value-added solutions.
• Collaborate with branch, counter, inside sales, purchasing, and vendor teams to close business.
