Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. seeks an Outside Sales Representative for Residential Trade (HVAC/Plumbing) in the Mobile/Baldwin County area.

You will build relationships with plumbing and HVAC contractors, remodelers, and trade professionals, promoting Ferguson’s breadth of residential products and services. You will conduct jobsite visits, drive territory growth, educate customers on new products and pricing, and collaborate with branches to deliver superior customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience selling to residential or commercial plumbing/HVAC contractors or related trade customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with residential and commercial plumbing/HVAC contractors, remodelers, and other trade professionals.
• Drive sales growth by promoting Ferguson's portfolio of residential plumbing, HVAC, water heater, bath, kitchen, and related products.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits, customer meetings, and contractor outreach to identify opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
• Collaborate with branch teams, showroom associates, vendor partners, and operational support to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Monitor local residential construction activity and remodeling trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Educate customers on new products, pricing, inventory solutions, and value-added services; develop territory sales plans.
