Job summary

Purple Wave Auction is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. You will build relationships with farmers, construction firms, and government entities, selling used equipment via online auctions and on-site outreach.

You will travel up to 75% of the time, educate clients on services, and manage opportunities in the CRM, while representing a trusted, ethical marketplace with strong local presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years of successful sales experience.
• Ability to travel extensively when required.
• Knowledge of construction, agriculture, fleet, and government industries is a plus.
• Ability to use various technologies to gather and share information electronically.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and potential customers to increase Purple Wave's visibility and brand recognition.
• Educate and inform clients about equipment auction services and how to utilize them to sell or buy used equipment.
• Gather and enter customer information and opportunities in CRM to maintain communication with the team.
• Ensure successful execution and support of all phases of the auction process.
• Represent Purple Wave to heavy equipment owners, buyers, and sellers and promote services at events.
