Job summary

Blake Brothers, part of TurnPoint Services, is seeking a Distributor Sales Representative in the Huntsville, AL area. The role combines account management, sales, and customer service to source products and equipment for contractors and skilled trades clients.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of distribution/sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage a sales territory independently. Travel within the assigned territory is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in distribution, building materials, or skilled trades.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage a sales territory independently.
• Familiarity with construction projects, building codes, and skilled trades materials a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, project managers, and purchasing teams.
• Promote and sell a full range of products, supplies, and equipment through distribution channels.
• Provide accurate quotes, proposals, and product recommendations to meet customer needs.
• Manage existing accounts while identifying new sales opportunities within assigned territory.
• Coordinate with inside sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Stay current on product lines, manufacturer promotions, and industry trends to educate customers.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales goals, margin targets, and account growth objectives.
• Track sales activity and maintain accurate records in CRM systems
