Job summary

Eaton’s North American Sales Division seeks a Distributor Sales Representative based in Hanover, MD, covering Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia, to drive distributor growth and optimize inventory.

You will work with channel partners and sales leadership to execute territory growth plans, deliver sales support, and improve distributor performance while collaborating across Eaton’s internal tools and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of technical and commercial field experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• No relocation assistance; must reside within 50 miles of Hanover, MD.
• Eaton does not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage growth in distributor stock sales for the capitol markets.
• Collaborate with the regional channel director, sales engineers and sales manager/director on territory strategy and annual plan; execute plans against targets.
• Provide sales support and inventory management services to distributors.
• Track distributor growth using sales reporting tools and review stock levels with channel partners.
• Recommend product and stock changes to optimize Eaton’s position.
• Develop and implement action plans for year-over-year growth and performance.
• Address challenges and schedule joint sales calls with management and channel director.
• Train distributors on internal programs including Order Center, Project Center, Bid Manager, and Commitments program.
• Maintain distributor relationships to improve performance and issue resolution.
