Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 years in a commercial assignment or experience in the electrical industry.
• Strong electrical industry and product knowledge.
• Distribution knowledge and/or experience.
• Strong product line knowledge.
• Strong channel relationships and knowledge of major accounts within the sales territory.
• Understand sales process and channel relationships with limited internal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Manage and demonstrate strong knowledge of assigned channel partners to increase sales in the territory.
• Interface with distributors and provide sales support and inventory management services.
• Develop and execute a territory channel strategy and plan with targets.
• Support customer issue resolution.
• Track distributor and residential contractor growth with sales reporting tools.
• Strategically evaluate and optimize distributor inventory to maximize sales.
• Develop and implement action plans targeted at YoY growth and performance levels.
• Train distributors on internal programs including Order Center, Project Center, Bid Manager, and Commitments.
