Job summary

Karl Strauss Brewing Company in Poway, CA is seeking a Sales Representative to grow placements and drive sales in the assigned market. You will educate accounts on the Karl Strauss Distributing portfolio, win new tap handles, shelf space, and in-store opportunities through face-to-face visits.

The role requires beverage sales or merchandising experience, an Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred), and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Beverage sales or merchandising experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive buyer-seller relationships.

Responsibilities

• Visits assigned accounts to sell the right beverage to the right account.
• Completes and submits orders accurately and timely.
• Increase shelf placement and measure points of disruption above competitors.
• Build relationships with buyers and key account managers.
• Run promotions and beer tastings at licensed accounts as directed.
