Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a resilient Sr. Sales Executive to own the full cycle of dealer growth across the assigned territory. You will identify, engage, and convert prospects into loyal partners through face-to-face visits and strategic outreach.

In this role you will qualify opportunities, conduct live demos, and negotiate terms while coordinating with Territory Managers. Travel and relationship-building are essential to win in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B field sales experience.
• 5+ years selling within the automotive industry.
• Track record of closing deals with high-level decision makers (Dealer Principals, CEOs, COOs).
• CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipeline.
• Strong analytic mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Mobile, territory-based role; comfortable traveling daily.
• Excellent relationship-building skills in person, over the phone, and in writing.
• Solid understanding of retail/wholesale marketplace and ACV value proposition.
• Strategic foresight and resilience in objections with data-backed pitch.
• Experience with a digital wholesale platform is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prioritized prospect list within the assigned territory.
• Execute high-volume outreach through in-person visits, calls, and regional events.
• Qualify prospects using ACV's opportunity framework.
• Lead in-person discovery meetings to understand client workflows and relationships.
• Position ACV's products against dealer channels with a data-driven case.
• Conduct live in-person platform demos and educate dealers on policies.
• Introduce additional ACV product lines for a full-service solution.
• Negotiate and close seller agreements with pricing structures.
• Coordinate with Territory Managers for target accounts and handoffs.
• Record and utilize Salesforce data daily for pipeline management and reporting.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets; monitor market dynamics and trends.
• Other duties as assigned.
