Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a resilient Sr. Sales Executive to drive new business growth and expand dealer partnerships in the assigned territory.

You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—by visiting dealerships in person, building relationships, and delivering compelling demonstrations of ACV’s platform. You will qualify prospects, leverage data to target opportunities, and coordinate with Territory Managers for seamless onboarding.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B field sales experience and net-new accounts.
• 5+ years selling within the automotive industry.
• Track record of closing deals with high-level decision makers.
• CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipeline.
• Analytical mindset using data to prioritize outreach.
• Mobile, territory-based role requiring daily field work.
• Ability to travel outside geographic area.
• Fluency in English.
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prioritized prospect list within the assigned territory.
• Execute high-volume outreach via in-person visits, calls, and regional events.
• Qualify prospects using ACV's framework.
• Lead in-person discovery meetings to understand prospects' workflows.
• Position ACV's products against dealer's channels with a data-driven case.
• Conduct live in-person platform demos.
• Negotiate and close seller agreements.
• Record activity in Salesforce daily for pipeline management.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Track market dynamics and trends.
