Job summary

gpac LLC. is seeking a Sales Agronomist for an Agronomy company in the Kansas City area to recommend seed, fertilizer, and herbicide products to growers while building long-term customer relationships.

You will manage and grow a sales territory, prepare contracts and proposals, and collaborate with agronomy staff to support daily operations and customer success. You will stay current on agronomy services, seed technology, crop protection products, and Precision Agriculture technologies and

Qualifications

Prior agronomy sales experience preferred.
Existing book of business preferred but not required.
Degree in Agronomy/Agriculture preferred or equivalent experience.
Self-motivated and able to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

Make seed, fertilizer, and herbicide recommendations to growers.
Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships to promote repeat business.
Manage and grow a sales territory through prospecting and customer service.
Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactions.
Work alongside agronomy staff to support daily operations and customer success.
Keep up to date on agronomy services, seed technology, crop protection products, and Precision Ag technology.
Forecast product and supply needs on a monthly and annual basis.
