Job summary

Syngenta seeks a Golden Harvest Sales Representative in South Dakota to drive hybrid sales and build customer relationships across Beadle, Hand, and Spink counties. You will work with a virtual team and field-based resellers to deliver tailored plans and offers to customers.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in agricultural sales, a strong customer focus, and proven negotiation skills. Live in the territory to ensure proximity and market knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or related degree with farming background.
• 2+ years in sales or sales leadership; ability to work independently on a virtual team.
• Strong customer focus and demonstrated sales and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide access to the industry’s broadest and most diverse portfolio of hybrids.
• Recruit, develop, and manage your team of professional resellers.
• Consultative selling, recognized expertise, and trust with your customers.
• Deliver plans and offers to targeted customers through selected channel partners.
• Create demand at the customer level, ensuring knowledge of our products and interest in Syngenta solutions.
• Coach Seed Advisors on product placement to achieve improved customer satisfaction.
• Manage operational budget, variable selling expenses, and marketing funds within district guidelines.
• Develop territory-level business plan and Seed Advisor business plans identifying opportunities and tactics.
