Job summary

Boise Cascade is seeking an Account Manager to perform marketing and outside sales with dealer accounts, traveling the assigned territory to present products and quotes. The role requires driving to customer sites and delivering promotional support across a broad range of building materials.

You will develop sales strategies, resolve customer issues, and maintain competitive product knowledge while promoting safety and continuous improvement in operations.

Qualifications

• College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function.
• Must be able to drive personal car to customer sites, including active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform marketing and outside sales of a broad mix of products and services to dealer accounts.
• Travel through assigned territory, quote prices, and conduct sales presentations.
• Develop sales strategies and product promotions.
• Resolve customer issues, respond to complaints and receivable problems, and provide claims service.
• Maintain knowledge of competitor products.
• Manage territory/customers for profitable results.
• Provide promotional and merchandising support to customers and vendors.
• Provide training to customers, customer associates, and contractors.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
