Vail Resorts, Inc. is hiring for winter seasonal roles including an Assistant Manager, Terrain Parks. You will lead daily operations, supervise terrain park staff, and ensure safe, high-quality guest experiences across mountain operations.

The role emphasizes staffing, feature design support, safety compliance, and cross-department collaboration to maintain peak terrain conditions throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential.
• Advanced skiing or snowboarding ability.
• Experience in mountain operations or outdoor terrain management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safe & Exceptional Operations for terrain parks.
• Oversee daily terrain park operations and venue readiness.
• Support feature design, maintenance, inspections, and risk management.
• Ensure safety standards and operating procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with Grooming, Snowmaking, Ski Patrol, Lift Operations.
• Build and develop high-performing teams across Snow Surfaces.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding and training.
• Develop schedules and staffing plans to meet needs.
• Coach staff, provide feedback, and drive accountability.
• Promote employee engagement and growth.
• Coordinate labor resources and budgeting.
• Monitor terrain quality and guest feedback.
• Support events, competitions and resort initiatives.
