Job summary

Sunday River Resort is seeking a Terrain Parks Day Crew Lead to oversee the day crew and maintain terrain park features to ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for guests. You will educate park users on etiquette and manage daily logs, maps, and incident forms.

Ideal candidates are ski-capable, at least 18, with strong communication and leadership skills, and experience supervising teams during weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication skills.
• Past lead/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Motivating and directing day crew.
• Maintain terrain and other resort snow features to ensure no safety hazards are present.
• Responsible for terrain park forms: Build maps, daily opening reports, feature placement maps, jib maintenance log, grooming reports, post incident reopening forms, and staff incident forms as needed.
• Interact and educate guests on etiquette, actively promoting PEEPS and Park Smart.
• Put up any ropes and/or signage necessary in designated park areas.
• Help create a park culture which is inclusive, creative, collaborative, with a safely oriented mindset.
• Assist ski patrol when needed for park-related matters.
• Open and close the park, paying special attention to safety needs.

Responsibilities

• Motivating and directing day crew
• Maintain terrain and other resort snow features to ensure no safety hazards are present

• Ideal candidate will be comfortable on skis and capable of carrying and transporting equipment while skiing.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent work ethic and self motivated
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Past lead/supervisory experience
• Available weekends

Compensation & Benefits

• Wages range from $23 to $25 per hour, depending on experience
