Job summary

Wintergreen Resort in Virginia is seeking Terrain Park Attendants to create a fun and safe terrain park environment for guests. The role involves outdoor, year-round exposure and standing for long shifts in winter conditions. You may shovel snow, lift up to 50 pounds, and ski or ride at an advanced level.

This is a seasonal full-time or part-time position starting late November to mid-March. Applicants should be 16+ years old, physically fit, and able to communicate effectively with the manager

SUMMARY: Wintergreen Resort Terrain Park Attendants are responsible for creating a fun and safe terrain park environment for all resort guests. Candidates will be able to work outside in all weather conditions in order to create and maintain the terrain park features. This may include standing for the entire shift, shoveling snow, and lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis. Preferred candidates will be able to ski or ride at an advanced level; skills may be assessed by department manager. Previous experience working in a terrain park is a plus.PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIESLead by example for a safe work environment.Smile and greet guests in a friendly manner.Report to work on time for all scheduled shifts.Must be in uniform when on duty.Follow all opening, closing, and daily operating procedures.Advise and assist guests as required.Maintain surveillance of his/her area.Keep work area neat and clean.Must follow policies and procedures outlined in the Wintergreen Handbook.Able to take on additional tasks and assignments assigned by the manager.This is Seasonal Full Time or Part Time positions.
