Job summary

Terminix is seeking a Termite Technician to protect customers’ properties from wood-destroying organisms. You will perform inspections, prevention, and treatments, acting as the first line of defense in safeguarding homes. This role requires physical work, ladder access, and adherence to safety protocols.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and customer service experience. Training is provided, and benefits begin day one of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (provided by us).
• Basic math skills—add/subtract/multiply/divide using whole numbers and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Identify termite problems and determine remedial steps based on termite behavior.
• Perform termite treatments safely per guidelines and procedures.
• Apply anti-termite treatments to structures according to instructions.
• Explain conditions conducive to termite activity and discuss needed modifications.
• Verify that job specifications match each work order.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
• Document services provided using production forms.
• Interact with customers and explain services performed.
