Job summary

Northwest Exterminating is hiring a Termite Tech (Maintenance) to manage a personal service route outdoors, performing termite treatments and building customers for life. No prior exterminating experience is required, and comprehensive training is provided.

You will drive a company vehicle and receive a company cell phone as part of a strong benefits package. Starting pay is $20 per hour with a full benefits package and opportunities for growth within a 70+ year company with a community-focused

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain the pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work independently on a route.

Responsibilities

• Building relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Managing your own termite service route with strong time management.
• Perform preconstruction and post-construction termite treatments.
• Resolve customer account issues and communicate with internal teams.
• Adhere to safety standards while operating company equipment and vehicle.

Your responsibilities:

• Building Relationships: You’ll create lifelong connections with both internal and external customers, helping to ensure they’re satisfied and loyal. Your goal is to create “Customers for Life” by delivering excellent service every time.
• Managing Your Own Termite Service Route: Handle the day-to-day operations of your route with excellent time management skills.
  • Perform both preconstruction and post-construction termite treatments.
  • Solve customer account issues and address both current and future needs.
  • Communicate regularly and consistently with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Partner with internal teams like customer service, sales, and management to deliver exceptional service.
  • Apply appropriate products according to label standards.
• Safety First: Maintain a strong safety mindset, especially when handling company equipment and driving the company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

• Safely use ladders within the manufacturer's weight capacity and climb ladders up to 32 feet
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods. Travel may include short stops or longer routes between counties or service areas.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
