Job summary

Kinder Morgan Inc. seeks a Southeast Terminals Supervisor-Ops to oversee the day-to-day safe operation and maintenance for KMST Spartanburg and Athens terminals.

You will lead Terminal Operators and Technicians, manage schedules, and ensure regulatory compliance across facilities. The role requires strong leadership, coordination with internal teams and external agencies, and the ability to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with operating and maintaining a liquid pipeline system and regulatory knowledge.
• Demonstrated leadership / supervisory capabilities.
• Ability to manage schedules, overtime, timesheets, and personnel matters.
• Ability to read and comprehend written material and perform related calculations.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise Terminal Operators, Technicians, and Coordinator-Ops to safely operate and maintain the terminals.
• Manage employee performance, schedules, overtime, and disciplinary matters.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory and company operating requirements; participate in inspections and audits.
• Act as Incident Commander for emergencies and lead the Emergency Response Team.
• Prepare and maintain reports and records on right-of-way, maintenance, safety, and compliance.
• Engage with property owners and coordinate with external agencies as needed.
• Serve as local customer contact for Business Development and ensure compliance with L-O&M procedures.
• Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
