Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator to safely operate equipment at our site and ensure accurate, expeditious processing of requests. You will interact with managers, customers, and suppliers while maintaining grounds and supporting loading/unloading activities.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and basic computer and SAP knowledge. Mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School diploma/GED.
• Required Work Experience: 1-3 years.
• Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic Knowledge about computers, Microsoft programs, and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms and suppliers.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.
• Load/unload material (bulk and bagged) by waterway/road as location requires.
• Operate and perform basic maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with mechanical maintenance.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies and promote safety culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
