Job summary

Amrize in Des Moines Terminal IA seeks a Terminal Operator to safely operate equipment loading and unloading rail cars, boats and trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.

Applicants should have a High School diploma/GED and 1–3 years of experience, basic computer skills, and familiarity with SAP; welding experience is desirable and adherence to PPE guidelines is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment to load/unload rail cars, boats and trucks.
• Ensure order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.
• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, and trucking firms.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard and related areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with mechanical tasks.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies; promote safety culture.
