Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. in the United States seeks a Terminal Operator to safely run equipment at the site, loading and unloading railcars, boats and trucks, and ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.

You will communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales staff and suppliers; maintain grounds and facilities; perform loading/unloading tasks; operate maintenance on mobile equipment; and uphold safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of work experience.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and welding experience desirable.
• Must adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Respirator fit tests require a clean-shaven face.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms and suppliers.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard.
• Load/unload materials via appropriate transport methods.
• Operate and maintain mobile equipment and assist with mechanical maintenance.
• Promote a culture of safety and adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
