Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator at its Milwaukee Terminal in Wisconsin. The role involves safely operating equipment to load and unload rail cars, barges, and trucks, maintaining accuracy in requests, and supporting terminal operations.

You will handle grounds, offices, yard areas, and perform basic maintenance; emphasize safety, compliance and teamwork. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of experience are expected, with TWIC and a valid driver’s license often required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of work experience in a similar role preferred.
• TWIC card is required; safety protocols and PPE usage are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain terminal equipment and loading/unloading processes for rail, waterway, and road transportation.
• Carry out tasks to load/unload materials, inspect and document maintenance on equipment.
• Record maintenance logs and ensure accuracy of terminal documentation.
• Support clerical tasks and communicate effectively to uphold health, safety, and environmental policies.
