Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator to safely run all equipment at the location and ensure accurate, timely loading and unloading of railcars, boats, and trucks.

You will communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales staff, trucking firms and suppliers, maintain the grounds and facilities, and perform loading/unloading tasks for bulk and bagged materials, while upholding health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of work experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Microsoft programs, and SAP.
• High mechanical aptitude; welding experience desirable.
• Knowledge of cement and construction industry is an asset.
• Must adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE, including respirators where required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms and suppliers.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.
• Load/unload material (bulk and bagged) via waterway and road methods as appropriate.
• Operate and maintain mobile equipment and assist with mechanical maintenance.
• Commit to health, safety and environmental policies and promote a culture of safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
