Job summary

BWC Terminals seeks a Terminal Operator to safely unload and load hazardous and non-hazardous liquids across tanks, railcars, trucks, and vessels. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to procedures while meeting supervisor expectations.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 0-2 years in terminal operations, a valid driver's license, TWIC eligibility, and basic computer skills. Overtime and rotating shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED.
• 0-2 years terminal operator experience; on-the-job training acceptable.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• TWIC credential required or able to obtain.
• Basic computer skills and customer service focus.
• Ability to distinguish colors.
• Overtime, weekend, and rotating shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Safely load/unload trucks and railcars.
• Follow established loading/unloading procedures.
• Complete paperwork accurately and per regulations.
• Assist with tank alignment for transfers.
• Perform maintenance and general housekeeping.
• Operate heavy equipment and hoses.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and visitors.
• Identify problems and resolve issues promptly.
• Support team efforts and learn from others.
• Report on time and adapt to workload needs.
• Comply with health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned.
