Job summary

BWC Terminals is seeking a Terminal Operator to safely unload and load liquid products across tanks, rails, trucks, and vessels at multiple sites. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to procedures while meeting supervisor expectations.

The successful candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, up to 2 years of terminal experience, and a valid TWIC and driver’s license. Training on-site is available, with potential overtime and rotating shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED is required.
• 0-2 years of terminal operator experience; on-the-job training acceptable.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) is required or able to obtain.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Customer service focus is essential.
• Ability to distinguish colors.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or rotating shifts as determined by terminal management.
• Ability to operate equipment such as motor vehicles, track mobile, forklift, boiler when certified.
• Willingness to wear required safety gear and adhere to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load/unload/blend hazardous and non-hazardous trucks and railcars.
• Complete all loading and unloading in accordance with established procedures.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Assist with tank alignment for transfers or blending by gauging tanks and operating valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance and general housekeeping of the terminal.
• Interact professionally with coworkers and visitors at all times.
• Identify problems, use judgment to resolve issues, and report promptly.
