Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Terminal Operator in Nashville, TN for a direct hire opportunity. The role requires operating Bobcats and similar equipment, unloading materials from barges, and maintaining inventory documentation. Day shift with potential overtime in peak seasons.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and ability to communicate in English. Prior heavy equipment experience is preferred, with focus on safety and efficiency on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills for dispatch systems, inventory tracking, and documentation.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Unload bulk materials from barges and load customer trucks safely.
• Operate Bobcats and other equipment to support terminal operations.
• Assist with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, Bills of Lading, and operational documentation.
• Coordinate daily terminal activities, communicate with customers and drivers, maintain a clean worksite, and follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
