Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Terminal Operator to perform hands-on operation of terminal equipment and daily functions under management direction.

You will ensure safe handling of shipments, conduct quality checks, and maintain buildings and equipment in good condition. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of experience with basic computer skills and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant terminal/industrial experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and safety protocol knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and final quality checks.
• Maintaining terminal buildings and equipment in safe, good condition.
• Handling product receiving and shipping.
• Ensuring internal controls to promote efficient, compliant operations.
• Unloading barges and railcars, sampling and testing received and shipped products.
• Loading trucks with proper weights and products.
• Operating unloading equipment safely and troubleshooting failures.
• Processing Bills of Lading.
• Adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.

• operating unloading equipment safely and troubleshooting failures

• adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, 1-3 years of relevant experience, basic computer skills, knowledge of equipment, and safety protocols.

Skills: Mechanical aptitude, positive attitude, physical ability for heights and confined spaces, knowledge of construction or cement industry is a plus, and compliance with PPE requirements.
