STG Logistics in Pasadena, TX is seeking an Assistant Manager, Terminal Operations to oversee the facility's operational performance. You will plan and direct warehouse and office operations, allocate materials and labor, and help set local policies to achieve objectives.

You will lead departments, hire and train staff, manage supplier performance within budget, and nurture client relationships to grow business opportunities. IT interfaces will support efficient operations.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in supply chain, preferably in the 3PL industry
• Proven leadership with ability to build and motivate a team
• Strong negotiating and communication abilities

• Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures for the facility.
• Direct and coordinate activities of facility departments.
• Monitor suppliers to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide goods and services within budgetary limits.
• Develop and increase team capabilities through effective hiring, training, and performance management.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships to enhance business opportunities.
• Champion all facility objectives and cross-functional improvement projects to reduce cost and improve operational effectiveness.
• Interfaces directly with company IT resources to ensure the creation of necessary information technology to meet customer objectives and facilitate efficient operations.

Summary:

As an Assistant Manager, Terminal Operations you will have the responsibility for the operational performance of the facility. This dynamic role is responsible for planning and directing warehouse and office operations, planning the use of materials and human resources, and for formulating local operational policies that lead to successful outcomes. You will provide support to the Terminal Manager in establishing warehouse performance objectives and will be accountable for achieving these objectives.
