Job summary

Client is seeking a terminal leader in a heavy industrial setting to oversee operations with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance. You will ensure policies and procedures are followed, manage contractors, and drive cost-aware budgeting aligned with volume and maintenance targets.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, strong safety leadership, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a challenging industrial environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an operations or maintenance role within heavy industrial environments (cement, aggregates, etc.).
  • 1-3 years of supervisory/lead experience.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in light or heavy industrial environments preferred.
  • Working knowledge of industrial operations, equipment, preventive maintenance, and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all terminal activities with a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, environmental compliance, quality, and customer service.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently per policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by reinforcing safe work practices and holding personnel accountable.
  • Manage contractor activities and ensure compliance with contractor control requirements and site expectations.
  • Develop and manage the terminal operating budget in line with cost, volume, maintenance, and business expectations.
