Job description

Drayage Terminal Manager | Owner-Operator Fleet | Customer Book Required

Type: Full-Time | Comp: Base + GP Performance Bonus

A 3PL expanding into asset drayage is looking for a Terminal Manager who comes with the relationships already built — on both sides of the freight equation.

You're who we're looking for if:
  • You have owner-operators in your network who trust you and will follow you
  • You have shipper relationships in retail consumer goods, pharmaceutical, or automotive
  • You understand drayage inside and out — ports, rails, chassis pools, free time, last free day
  • You’ve either launched a terminal or been close enough to the launch to know exactly what it takes
  • You want equity in the outcome — not just a salary
Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a fleet of owner-operators
  • Develop and grow shipper accounts in target verticals
  • Own daily operations: dispatch, compliance, customer service, P&L
  • Build the team and the systems around you as volume grows

5+ years in drayage operations or terminal management required. Existing carrier and/or customer relationships strongly preferred.
